NH/LSCP R2R 2018 WALK OPTION
Not a bicycle rider? Like to walk? Enjoy the idea of a walk in East Rock Park? Join the NH/LSCP 2018 R2R Walker Team. It’s simple. Just register on the NHL Sister City site as a walker.
For the sixth year the NH/LSCP will have a walker team to support the efforts of R2R. Last year our team of walkers raised over $1200. Join us this year. Let’s have a walking crowd. Bring your children and the dog. Reap the added benefit of a wonderful walk along the river. With your participation we are confident of increasing our ability to support the important environmental initiatives of our Sister City.
Our walking route takes the river loop trail from East Rock Park to the Eli Whitney Museum, through the covered bridge and back to East Rock park on the other side. This walk is on flat ground and takes approximately an hour. It’s beautiful, and the perfect terrain and length for a family excursion.
We will meet at the College Woods Ranger Station (Orange and Cold Spring Streets) at 11am .
For more information on walking contact Mary Lesser at email@example.com or call 203-498-0690.
