I'm back and bringing Annie and Julie as an expression of gratitude for forty years of life and five formative ones in New Haven with so many of the people and missions Rock to Rock supports.
This year, I'm riding for three reasons that I hope you will contribute toward with a financial contribution to help me raise $1380 and at least 18 gifts - which will bring my grand fundraising total to $8,000 through 100 generous contributors over six Rock to Rocks since 2014
TO CELEBRATE Bun Lai and the Miya's Sushi family on their great contributions to New Haven going back to 1982; Jacqueline Maisonpierre for her seven years at New Haven Farms and working closely with the communities NHF has increasingly grown from serving to partnering and empowering; and the combined power of New Haven Farms and New Haven Land Trust moving forward to merge at a great time;
TO SUPPORT all the New Haveners, community members, health clinicians, stakeholder capitalism entrepreneurs, farmers, philanthropists, social justice warriors with warm hearts, politicians, Yale people, Southern CT CARE people, Hill people, Fair Haven people, West Rock people, East Rock people and everyone in between who have been a part of my #GSCIA experience, New Haven as the Greatest Small City in America;
TO SHARE Rock to Rock with the next generation--Annie (6) and Julia (3)--to teach them how their hometown can forever stand for community, collaboration, creativity, fun, passion, purpose, diversity, and impact as they navigate their way by growing and contributing to their home place--and how to carry that spirit wherever they may be.
Please help US create a greener, healthier, more just climate, from Rock to Rock! Our community and planet need our support, and local initiatives like Rock-to-Rock can have the largest immediate impact on capacity building and generative energy to keep moving forward.
Thank you so much for making a generous donation. It's 100% tax deductible, and you will be making a big difference in so many ways through your support!
2019 training ride from JFK Library to Castle Island and back - no training wheels
Every Rock to Rock is about re-imagining Coast to Coast 2002.
My joy of riding goes back to this green tricycle.
My girls show promise for a life-long love of human-powered wheels.
Ride with us April 25th or make a gift to our efforts today!
