Hi folks, I am excited about my upcoming Rock to Rock 5-mile bike ride on April 28,2018 to raise money for EcoWorks which supports recycling, decreased waste to the landfills and helps to keep our environment healthy and green!

Pat and I have been volunteering at EcoWorks for the past 3 years!  EcoWorks is a reuse center for the creative arts.  We sell low cost art supplies and materials to teachers, artists and other creative people. In addition, we have a reBoutique gift shop of upcycled, repurposed goods made by Connecticut artisans. We also offer workshop, teaching people how to use recycled materials in a variety of arts and craft projects.

EcoWorks is mostly an all volunteer organization.  Last year at the Rock to Rock Earth Day Ride, EcoWorks raised money to hire a part-time person who has recruited and trained many volunteers. She is great !

Pat and I have been the volunteer managers/store clerks making it possible for EcoWorks to be open 2 days/week.  We are raising funds to further expand our staff and open hours, thus making reused materials more available and keeping them out of the landfill.

I will appreciate any support that you give me for the expansion of EcoWorks, its staff and open hours, while I am pedaling the 5-mile bike ride!

All donations are 100% tax deductible.  Donate through Rock to Rock Earth Day Ride website, click on "Support Me" using your credit card, or make a check payable to EcoWorks, and write in the memo:  "Support Kim Cartwright"; send it to EcoWorks, 262 State St., New Haven, CT 06510.
